hehe - if it wasn't for Paul D Gilbody (senior vice president of Bay State Savings Bank) I'd have the whole first page of google. I'll settle for the top 8 entries just now.

Mind you - I do have a ridiculous surname...

Happy New Year Jim. Will be in touch re. UGM re-union : )

Thanks, guys - Merry Christmas to you too.

I briefly hit number four in the Google rankings yesterday, and I've a screencap to prove it.

Today I'm back to number five. And the guys sanding the floors on our top floor put a nail through a water pipe, trashing one of the first floor ceilings, and now there's no cold water in the first floor bathroom ... you have to laugh :D

All well and good but what about when you see other bloggers' sites up there on a google ranking because their blog has your name in it.... *oh the shame*

Merry Chrimbo!

I never thought I had a common name, until I noticed a Hollywood director with the same name a few years ago. His credits include Cat Baillou and the Twilight Zone. That's good company to keep.

And seriously, how many Owen Lystrups could there be out there?

Not many, because I've already looked.

Have a great break, James.

You're #1 in my book.

Have a great break.

I might have top spot now, but I still bear the childhood scars from having a surname pretty much at the end of the alphabet!

I have a VERY common name. I use a screen capture of a google search on my name to demonstrate how google ranks blogs more highly when I'm showing people the benefits of blogging.

Not to brag or anything but some of us have both short and long versions of our names, both of which are top of the google scale of appreciation...

Have a cool yule and other festive sentiments.
